APPG chair Caroline Lucas MP has secured a parliamentary debate on the Wellbeing Economy approach to meeting Climate Goals for Tuesday 30th November 2021.
Building on parliamentary support for the earlier campaign around the Wellbeing Economy petition in Summer 2021, the debate drew strong cross-party interest; with contributions from i.a. Kirsty Blackman MP, Rebecca Long-Bailey MP, Clare Hanna MP, Beth Winter MP, Alyn Smith MP and Patrick O’Grady MP. A Government reply was provided by Helen Whately, The Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury.
